Acer Aspire 4750 Windows XP Driver
First thing you guys need to know there are NO official windows XP drivers released
for this model, If you have problems or question just drop your comments at the end of the post.Remember to read the privacy policy.
The most difficult driver to install is the graphic driver, there are 2 drivers which is Nvidia and Intel. For nvidia direct install won't work, so you need to follow the instruction carefully.

Nvidia GT 540M Windows XP Driver
This post is for tutorial purpose especially to work Nvidia GT 540M and GT 520M on Acer 4750.
There are no official release for the drivers, So do it at your own risk (read disclaimer first before proceed!), i don't hold any responsibility for your action.

If method A didn't Work try method B, by he way i only tested method B with GT 520M. So for GT 540M I can't confirm it will work.
A: MOD DRIVER
1. Download Drivers
Link: download (267.59)
For 64-bit you can search for nvidia 267.59 64-bit. (if you prefer not to use mediafire you can google Nvidia 267.59 xp)
2. Download the mod INF : Download
3. Now copy the mod INF and replace the original inf in the extracted folder. Browse through 267.59 - Display.Driver - replace the mod inf.
4. Then run setup.
B. EDITING INF
Download this Driver: 267.04 Driver.
1. Extract the driver folder. (i recommend to install winrar)
2. open device manager by click start and select run, type DEVMGMT.MSC and press ENTER.
3. Right click on video controller and select Properties.
4. Select Details and select hardware ID.
5. Copy the hardware ID (press CTRL + C to copy).
6. Open the driver folder we extracted, open the Display.Driver Folder and look for NVSM.INF and open it.
7. Look for the line show at he picture below. Then under it you will see the list of IDs.
Example your hardware ID is:
Going through the list you will found similar ID,
8. then add one more line below it like the picture below. ADD new line below it like in the picture (and replace the RED line with your hardware ID).
9. save and run setup.

Intel 82852/82855 Graphic Driver for Vista
Officially there are no drivers for intel 82852/82855 released for windows vista and windows 7. They are only available in windows XP. The trick that i always do with upgrading old models is install the XP driver in wndows vista using compatibility mode. Not only driver but this trick also work with windows 7.
1. Download the XP Driver form the manufacture (There are lower chance for the drievr to work if you download it from Intel).
example : Compaq V2000 Driver
(for compressed files, extract it first)
2. Right click on the driver select properties.
3. Select COMPATIBILITY.
4. Select run this program...'Windows XP'.
5. Right click again and select run as admin.
1. Download the XP Driver form the manufacture (There are lower chance for the drievr to work if you download it from Intel).

Dell Inspiron N4020 (14V) Windows XP Drivers
De4ll Inspiron N4010 is a INTEL model, Similarly with other laptop, the model is base on graphic and this model only came with Intel graphic. There is no Quickset driver for XP so far, only available for windows 7. Install according to order and if you have problems leave your comments.

Before downloading and install this driver, i would like to outline several things. First windows 7 is Driver friendly OS (only for new model), which mean some of the driver already installed, so here is some important thing:
1. Normally the drivers need to be install is: Graphic (SMSBUS), Card Reader, Infrared, Quicklaunch, Modem and Touchpad.
2. Other Driver like sound, if you heard sound, no need to install audio. Similar to wireless and other, if they work no need to install.
3. make sure to check windows updates, there are 2 sections which is critical update and optional updates, select optional updates and there you will see several updates for your driver especially graphics.
